My Track Record & Experience in Japan Cruising
Nice to meet you! I’m Cruise Aoi.

JAPAN-CRUISE BLOG is my passion project, born from seven years of supporting the cruise industry and port communities across Japan—and of course, from my own adventures at sea.
It all started with my honeymoon cruise. I was completely swept away by the experience, you know? During the pandemic, when the world felt so uncertain, I realized I wanted to share this magic with others. That’s when I launched this blog dedicated to cruising in Japan.
Since 2023, I’ve had the privilege of helping over 4,482 travelers plan their perfect cruise, with more than 150 people booking their trips through the blog each month. My goal is simple: to make sure first-time cruisers feel confident and excited about choosing their ideal voyage. I do this by sharing the latest updates and in-depth guides—everything you need to embark on an unforgettable journey.
Oh, and here’s something else I should mention: I also run another cruise blog called “Kumaris Cruise” together with my husband.
My Mission & What This Blog Is All About
The biggest mission of JAPAN-CRUISE BLOG? Simple: to transform cruising from “a special luxury only for some” into “an extraordinary escape anyone can enjoy.”
Here’s how I’m working toward that goal:
- Taking the Mystery Out of Cruising for First-Timers: I know what you might be thinking: “Cruises sound expensive” or “The booking process seems complicated.” I get it! That’s why I break down everything—from pricing to what your days onboard actually look like—in the clearest, most straightforward way possible.
- Growing Japan’s Cruise Culture : Here’s something exciting: Disney Cruise Line is expected to start sailing from Japan in 2028! With this on the horizon, I’m working to double the number of cruise enthusiasts in Japan. It’s an incredible time to be part of this growing community.
- Delivering Fresh, Trustworthy Information : Whether you’re considering a quick day cruise or dreaming of a world voyage, I keep you updated with the latest schedules, pricing, and booking tips that actually matter. No fluff—just the information you need to make confident decisions.
What makes cruising so magical? You get to step into a world of luxury and extraordinary experiences without the usual travel hassles. It’s an escape from everyday life that’s easier to enjoy than you might think.
As someone who’s experienced these voyages firsthand and who genuinely loves supporting this industry, I’m here to help you plan the perfect journey. If you’re curious about cruise travel, please feel free to explore the blog—I’d love to be your guide!

My cruise journey started here! This is my invoice from my very first voyage in 2019 aboard Norwegian Cruise Line—the trip that changed everything.

One of my favorite ships: Asuka III. This boarding pass brings back wonderful memories of sailing on this beautiful vessel.
